What is Wakeman Road?

Wakeman Road is a unique artisan space exclusively for the use of members and their guests. A new type of private club, driven and dedicated to optimising members’ health and wellbeing.

It offers access to some of the most trusted and talented therapists and practitioners in the UK, and the world beating services they provide.

It is a place of good intentions.

It is also a shop, with a staggering collection of unique and charming products for sale that you are almost certainly not going to find anywhere else in the world. And a venue for private or corporate hire.

It is without doubt somewhere you should experience.

How do I become a member?

You need to be invited or you need to apply once referred by an existing member. All membership applications are subject to the approval of the membership committee. membership@wakemanroad.co.uk

I would like to recommend some friends as prospect members?

Each member has the ability to refer up to 5 people. If you are an existing member and require a form to do so please email membership@wakemanroad.co.uk

Can my friends visit without me, the member?

Please contact the membership team with any special requests and we will do our best to assist you.

I’m not a member, can I come and get a treatment?

No. Wakeman Road is exclusively for the use and enjoyment of members and their guests.

What days are you open?

We are open Tuesday to Saturday however the space can be booked for private events seven days a week. We can also make special requests of our therapists should you require something slightly off piste, such as an at home or workplace visit for a special occasion.

What treatments are available?

There is a phased introduction of therapists and practitioners at launch. Listed below are the services being introduced initially and we look forward to you meeting all our therapists and practitioners in due course. At the outset, call us on 0208 964 6740 to book an appointment and see what’s available.

When will the full treatment menu be available?

All members will be sent the full list of treatments by mid-September, when all four rooms will be fully operational. A detailed list of treatments, practitioners and brands will be available online and online booking will be introduced in the next few weeks.

Can I park at Wakeman Road?

Can I eat at Wakeman Road?

We can fully cater to your requirements given advance notice. There are a range of innovative, healthy and deliciously nutritious snacks available and a variety of interesting drinks and juices available to buy.

Can I pay by cash, card or cheque?

Yes, you can pay any of the above. Cheques only with a valid bankers card. There is a cash machine situated 1 minute from Wakeman Road. It can be found next to Tesco Metro underneath the quite grotesque gold building on Chamberlayne Road.

What is your returns policy?

We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us. We have created a 30 day returns policy to enable you to return products. We will require a receipt for goods and the unused unopened product returned. Under these circumstances we offer an exchange but not a refund.

Products purchased at trunk shows or private sales are non refundable.

Can I buy gift vouchers?

You can buy gift vouchers up to any value you choose. Gift Vouchers are available for use by non-members when given by a member. They will be valid for a limited period of time and appointments subject to availability.

Will you deliver something to me or the person I am buying for if I want to buy it over the phone?

Of course, if we can. If you need any inspiration do not hesitate to call our Front Desk. We are always full of ideas and have a constantly evolving collection of gifts to choose from. Just give us a ring on 0208 9646740.

What is your cancellation policy for treatments?

If you are unable to make your appointment we require 72 hours notice. Any less that the stated notice of cancellation and you will be charged the full price of the treatment.

Do you have wireless internet access?

Yes. We do. There is a secret code. Ask our very own darling department, the Front Desk.

Can I get online and work at Wakeman Road for a day?

Wakeman Road does not offer hot desking or the dedicated facilities for working throughout the day. The space is for use by members and their guests, to enjoy treatments, consultations or to browse the unique collection of brands and products available to purchase. It’s not that we don’t want to you to stay a long time, just that we want others to enjoy the space for its primary purposes – Relaxation and Enjoyment.

Can I get a day membership or a month membership?

Please contact the Front Desk, only in very special circumstances will this be possible.

Who is behind Wakeman Road?

Wakeman road is a collaboration between entrepreneurs Richard Lamballe and Emma Sinclair.

Who is on the Membership Committee of Wakeman Road?

Can I cancel my membership?

No. Wakeman Road memberships operate on an annual basis. Should you wish to cancel your membership after 12 months please inform the membership team in writing. Memberships are also non-transferrable.

What treatments or consultations can I redeem my monthly charge against?

The member, and only the member – even when accompanied by a guest can redeem the equivalent of the monthly fee £29 against a treatment of £65 or more.

Can I save up my monthly fee for two months or more to pay for a treatment in full?

No. The equivalent of the monthly fee can be used in that month only, if unused it does not roll forwards for use in the following month. So 12 x £29 to spend in the 12 months of any one membership year.
